Graphics
Elements of Graphic Design:
Lines: Lines go from point a to point b & can be arranged to create shapes and pictures, lines can be thin or thick, straight or curvy they can create movement or lead your eyes through the image they can be in patterns that convey texture 3 different types are static dynamic or random. uneven spacing makes lines appear to be moving, and they work as frames or dividers.
Shapes:Combining shapes makes the more complex, stands out from the space next to or around it due to a defined or implied boundary, or because of differences of value color or texture. Shapes can be mechanical or natural, mechanical shapes can be made with a ruler like squares and triangles.
Mass: How big or visual weight, a basic element that equals size
Texture: the visual or tactile surface characteristics of a piece. Visual is the texture that appears from the design elements texture can be created from layers, lines, shapes
Color:Value is how light or dark a color is. contrast is the difference in value between an object and its backgroundby chosing the value that effects the amount of contrast that effects your design in a good way. Different value can create movement or lead the eye. color will override the effect of value. RGB - on top of black CMYK - on top of white add black to get shades add white to lighten a hue, called tints, saturation is the amount of Hue
